Instructions for programming KF382 Remote Control

  1. Remove the driver’s side kick panel (right hand side of the accelerator pedal).
  2. Connect the registration connectors together (one male, one female. White/see through in colour).
  3. Press and hold the ‘Unlock’ button on the driver’s door – don’t let go.
  4. Press the lock button on the new remote twice (the door locks will cycle to indicate successful programming).
  5. Repeat step 5 for any other remotes required (old remotes need to be re-learnt at this point).
  6. Release the ‘Lock’ button on the driver’s door.
  7. Disconnect the registration connectors inside the driver’s kick panel.

(you can test remotes at this point).

  1. Replace the driver’s side kick panel.

Note: If the vehicle does not have a Lock/Unlock toggle on the driver’s door, simply turn the key in the driver’s door to the unlock position instead and hold it until step 6.

Instructions for programming KF382 Transponder

The transponder must be programmed using diagnostic equipment.
