Important: When changing the shell, the transponder chip may come lose. It's best to change the shell over a clean surface in case anything important comes lose.
If the remote doesn't function after the shell change, turn the key to the 'On' position and press the lock button on the remote once. Turn the key to the 'Lock' position, remove key and test again.
